Perched on top of primary sand dunes, under tropical skies lies our Jewels on the Mozambique Coast situated in the Province of Inhambane, in the district of Jangamo. Most of our upmarket homes afford fantastic views of our pristine golden beaches and typical Mozambiquan blue ocean.

Accommodation

The homes to rent have been furnished and equipped to the highest standard, way above the norm, to ensure your comfort on those days, when relaxing indoors is preferred. Each self-catering unit - from a 2 sleeper or up to a 12 sleeper comes with it's dedicated houseman to make your holiday as comfortable and stress free as possible.

Security

Also for your safety we have a 24 hour Security Guard team on patrol covering the entire resort.

Electricity

We have connected to E.D.M the Mozambiquan Electricity Supplier and 24 hour electricity is a great bonus to keep those fans turning during those sultry summer nights.

Roads

Our roads around the resorts are soft sand and therefore a 4x4 vehicle is essential. Arrangements can be made to park 2x4 vehicles nearby should it be necessary. We are approximately 50 minutes drive from the town of Inhambane the 3rd biggest town in Mozambique.

Nearby Facilities

In Inhambane you can find a Hospital, International Airport, garages, bottle store, Fish/Veg/Curio Market and Shops where one can buy almost everything you need for a beach holiday.

Ligogo Holidays are recommended for a family holiday as much as for a Boy's Fishing Trip.

Swimming

Swimming at low tide inside the reefs is suitable for all ages - even toddlers can splash around in the calm, clean shallows while parents keep a watchful eye on them. Lovely wide open beaches are great for long walks and allow one to park away from others if you prefer a little privacy. The local netters bring in their nets on most days, and so even if you are not a fisherman, there will be fish to buy, and fishermen of course can often find the perfect bait.

Fishing

Fishing at Ligogo is legendry and the launch is a breeze on almost everyday - if the launch is not good on a particular day, then there is no point in being at sea anyway! However when the sea is upside down, large GT'S (King Fish) come into the Bay and Rock and Surf Angling becomes exciting.
